SMS Opt-In Consent Documentation

This page documents how Inma Food & Distributor LLC collects consent from customers to receive transactional text messages about their delivery requests. It is provided for carrier and campaign review verification and is publicly accessible with no authentication.

1. Website opt-in (request form)

On the Request a Delivery form at inmadelivery.com/request-delivery, step 4 ("How do we reach you?") collects the customer's phone number and displays an unchecked consent checkbox the customer must actively check. The reproduction below uses the same styles as the live form.

Reproduction of the form's consent step

Phone
I agree to receive SMS text messages from Inma Food & Distributor about my delivery request, such as order confirmations and delivery updates. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not required to complete your request.

Privacy PolicyTerms & Conditions

This checkbox is unchecked by default and optional. Customers can complete their delivery request without opting in to text messages. The consent state is stored with each request. The Privacy Policy and Terms links shown open inmadelivery.com/privacy and inmadelivery.com/terms.

2. Phone (verbal) opt-in with handset confirmation (double opt-in)

When a customer calls the Inma business line at (888) 557-3143 to request a delivery, no recurring text messages are sent until the customer confirms from their own handset. The flow is:

Step 1 — Verbal request on the call.

Before any text is sent, the customer is asked:

"We can text you delivery updates about your request. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP anytime to opt out. Is it okay to text you?"

Step 2 — Confirmation text sent to the handset.

If the customer agrees, the system sends a single confirmation request to their phone:

"Inma Food & Distributor: Reply START to confirm you'd like delivery updates about your request. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

Step 3 — Customer confirms from their handset.

No further messages are sent unless the customer replies START from their own phone. Only after this handset confirmation is the number marked confirmed and eligible to receive delivery updates.

Step 4 — Welcome confirmation.

Once the customer replies START, they receive:

"Inma Food & Distributor: You're confirmed for delivery updates about your request. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

The customer's consent state (pending until they reply START, then confirmed) is recorded for each number. Customers who do not reply START never receive further messages.

3. Text message opt-in

When a customer texts a delivery request to Inma at (240) 387-8520, they receive the same handset confirmation before any recurring messages are sent: the system replies with a confirmation request, and the customer must reply START to confirm. Only after that handset confirmation does the number receive delivery-related replies.
